So, my adventure started this morning at about 6:30AM. That’s the time I woke up because of the nerves at just the simple thought of meeting Kirishou. I barely slept all night, but it’s okay. I wanted to leave early, but then I decided it would most likely be best to wait for a tweet from him, so I waited patiently and then he tweeted…. BUT, to my surprise he tweeted he was going to BRUSSELS! Holy fuck NO! I panicked, got into my shoes as fast as possible, put on my coat, got on the first bus to the station, there got on the first train and left.
I arrived in Amsterdam at about 10:30. I kept walking around the station all the time. I knew the trains to Brussels only leave from line 15b, so I hung around there most of the time. Sometimes I went outside to see if he was hanging around there, by any chance, but no luck…. So, feeling a bit sad that I didn’t meet him I decided to get a burger at McDonalds for lunch to cheer myself up. I still had a little bit of hope though, so I sat down near the door, facing outside, so I could see everyone that walked by!
That’s when it happened….
A short man with blonde-yellow-orangy hair walked by in a red, plaid cardigan. It had to be him, right?
Without hesitating I dropped my food and ran off without even looking around or throwing away my food (I’m horrible, I know). I wasn’t sure if it was him though. I kept walking behind him from a distance… But, then I recognized something: His hands. Yes, I seriously made sure from HIS HANDS that this had to be Kirishou. So I walked faster, catching up on him and his friend and asked him “sumimasen~” Of course he immediately recognized I was a fan with my Jun-like hair and my Tamiya shirt! I talked to him about how much I loved Golden Bomber at first and how shocked and happy I was to actually be able to meet him here. He told me he was happy too and that I was the first fan that he had met outside of Japan.
After that he asked me if it was okay to take a picture with his iPhone. After he took the picture he asked me if it’s okay to put it on twitter and of course I said yes. THEN he asked me if I had a camera (duh, of course I brought it) and his friend took a picture for me too. Then I got the tiniest present out of my bag that I had bought for him really quickly and gave it to him… After that he even asked me if I had a pencil around and something to sign and then I realized I forgot about that stuff ; w ; His friend had a pen though and I had my Japanese dictionary with me so he signed that for me xD Best motivation to study EVER.
Then, at first he walked off, but suddenly they turned around again and walked back to me, asking me if I could help them find their train. Of course I said that I’d bring them there and asked Kirishou if he had fun in the Netherlands and stuff like that :3 When I brought him and his friend to the right line I told Kirishou about what Golden Bomber had meant to me and how Life is Alright is a song that I will never forget and things like that… I basically told him he saved my life by doing what he’s doing with Golden Bomber and then he grabbed my hands, thanked me and I hugged him, thanking him at least a billion times.
I didn’t want to bother him a lot though, since this was his HOLIDAY, which meant NO Golden Bomber of course… So I thanked him another 283472 times, bowing, waving and then left. He kept staring after me, waving at me too, until I was fully out of sight ; w ; HE’S SO CUTE OMFG.
And he wasn’t wearing contacts or make-up of course, so he looked adorable ; w ; He IS hiding his face because of that though, but I DON’T CARE! GB FANS WILL RECOGNIZE IT’S KIRISHOU :D
I’m so proud. Today really is my lucky day. I’m the luckiest fucking girl one earth, I fucking swear. I will never, EVER, forget today <3 Thank you Kirishou. Thank you so much!
